The greatest vacation spots are not always far away destinations. With Ontario150 celebrations underway and continuing throughout the year, there are plenty of options right here in our home province to explore and enjoy everything Ontario has to offer.

Check out these family-friendly events and activities happening this year at Ontario Place.

Ride along the waterfront. If you are riding your bike or walking along the Martin Goodman Trail, take a break through Ontario Place and discover the new Trillium Park and William G. Davis Trail. See if you can find the marker trees that lead to the lake.

Bring a picnic, get cozy and enjoy the views. Visit the Trillium Park and William G. Davis Trail with your family and be sure to bring your own food and pup. With sweeping views of the city and Lake Ontario, there are multiple vantage points for picture-perfect sunsets.

Active Ontario festival. This Labour Day weekend, experience a variety of sports and healthy lifestyle activities that encourage families to spend time outdoors exploring our natural landscapes.
